After the session, you will receive an invoice with payment details. Payments are made via a bank transfer within three days after the session. Please note that a session needs to be paid for prior to a new appointment.
Sessions usually take place weekly or biweekly depending on your personal needs. It is also possible to meet less regularly. However, it is better to start with more frequent sessions. Later, we may meet once per month if you would need a booster session.
I do not collaborate with insurance companies. This means that you would need to cover the costs of your sessions out of pocket. Please check with your insurance provider whether some reimbursement would be possible.
If you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please inform me 48 hours prior to the session and we can schedule a new one if you wish. However, last-minute cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee. In case of unforeseen circumstances and situations beyond your control (e.g. sickness), we can discuss an exemption.
Yes. Sessions are strictly confidential. Confidentiality is however broken in case of a risk of harm to yourself or others.
Coming to a psychologist for the first time can evoke different feelings. It is normal. Know that it is a safe space where you will not be judged. During the first two sessions, psychologist will be asking you different questions regarding your situation, complaints, and expectations. You can openly ask questions.
You can stop your therapy at any time that feels right to you.
Before your session starts, please check your Wi-Fi connection. Take care of your comfort and privacy. You can use headphones if it is more convenient. Make sure your camera and microphone are working, so we can see and hear each other. If you lose the Internet connection, try to reconnect after a few minutes. If it is still not possible, send me a message.
